Feeling the Vibration

Materials you will need:

• A balloon
• A radio (jam box)

 

 
 
Steps
 
1.  Blow up the balloon.
2.  Turn on the radio and place your hands around the balloon. Holding the balloon about 3-4 inches (10cm) away from the radio.

Can you feel the vibration?

3.  Turn the volume up on the radio.
4.  Place your hands around the balloon again - position it the same distance away from the radio.

What do you feel now?  Can you feel the difference?
